The visit

What the free assessment is

One visit to our building in Richland. It is free, you and your athlete come in together, and it has three parts.

  1. 01

    The walkthrough

A coach walks you both through the building: the turf, the weight room, and how the in-season and off-season classes work around your kid's schedule.

  2. 02

    The assessment

Your athlete goes through a real session: a warmup, then running, footwork and a few basic strength drills, matched to their age. The coaches watch how they start and stop, how they hold up when it gets hard, and the habits that slow them down.

  3. 03

    What you leave with

A straight read on where your kid is today, the one or two things to work on first, and which class fits their season. You both hear it in plain words, and then you decide.

From families and athletes

What parents and athletes say

“
Coach Bibe is the kind of coach every program hopes to have on staff. He doesn't just tell athletes what to do, he takes the time to explain the why behind every drill and adjustment. That approach builds trust and helps young athletes truly understand the game.
Trevor FehrenbacherCTE Business & Marketing Teacher
“
I've known Mike Bibe for eight years, and he's an outstanding coach and an even better leader. What sets him apart is his commitment to developing not just great athletes, but great people.

Coach Michael Bibe had a huge impact on my development as an athlete and as a person. He recognizes what each player needs to improve and works with you to fix those areas while building your confidence.

Questions

What parents ask before they come in

Is the assessment really free?

Yes. If Valor is a fit, we will tell you which class makes sense. If it is not, we will tell you that too.

What should my athlete wear or bring?

Athletic clothes, training shoes and water. We handle the rest.

What ages and sports?

Ages 8 to 18, every sport. Football is a specialty, not a requirement. Classes are grouped by age so athletes train with their peers.

My kid is already in season. Is this the right time?

Yes. In-season athletes train one or two days a week around practice, lighter work that keeps them fast and healthy through the season. Off-season athletes build three days a week for the sport that is coming next.

Can we try a session before deciding?

Yes. Drop-ins are welcome. Come feel a session first and decide from there.

Where are you?

1973 Fowler Street in Richland, next to the Chef'Store and Cost Less Carpet. Families come from Kennewick, Pasco, West Richland and across the Tri-Cities.
