Built in the weight room
Corey's relationship with training started where it does for a lot of athletes: on the football field. Growing up playing the game, he learned fast that what happened in the gym showed up on the field, and that realization turned into a lifelong passion for training.
He took it to Southwestern Kansas, where he played linebacker and became a two-time conference champion. Competing at that level taught him what championship culture actually looks like, and it's the standard he brings to Valor every day. After earning his ISSA certification, he teamed up with his brother to build the academy, combining family, passion, and a shared vision for the next generation.
His philosophy is simple: give back. He believes training should be engaging and fun while building the discipline that pays off in the classroom, the workplace, and life. Every athlete who walks in isn't just training their body. They're building character.
In their words
What athletes and families say
What this academy is building goes far beyond sports. It's creating structure, confidence, and leadership in young athletes. This is the kind of environment that doesn't just develop talent, it builds character. If I had access to something like this growing up, it would've been a game changer.
This isn't just another gym, it's a place built for athletes who actually want to level up and get results. The standard here is real, and you feel it the moment you walk in. Valor is gonna make serious noise.
The passion for guiding others, the attention to detail, and the high character set this place apart. It isn't just about building better athletes, it's about building better people who strive for excellence.
